Lemberger S dry wins 2nd place at the German Red Wine Award 2024

The German Red Wine Prize from VINUM was awarded for the 38th time in 2024. Our Lemberger S dry was awarded 2nd place (gold) out of over 1400 wines submitted.

Since 1987, the annual German Red Wine Award presented by the wine magazine VINUM has been a benchmark for the quality of German red wines. The wines were tasted by a jury of experts in September and rated according to a 100-point system. At the 38th edition of the competition, 830 wines were awarded prizes by an expert jury, 614 of which were silver and 216 gold. Our Lemberger S trocken won 2nd place in the Lemberger category and received the additional “Best Buy” award for the best price-performance ratio.

In addition, our Primus S (Lemberger and Merlot) and our Donar (Pinot Noir) were awarded silver.

All results are published on the website of the Red Wine Award. Further information can be found in the VINUM press article.
