
At the 29th EcoWinner competition at DLR Oppenheim, 91 organic wines from 443 wines tasted were honored. Our Riesling S came out on top as EcoWinner in the “sweet and semi-sweet” category.
40 professional tasters, led by oenologist and wine journalist Dagmar Ehrlich, evaluated the wines in 14 categories on June 18, 2024. Our Riesling S was named EcoWinner in the “sweet and noble sweet” category.
The EcoWinner is the oldest organic wine award and follows the official guidelines of the OIV (International Organization of Vine and Wine).
A total of 84 organic wineries took part, submitting a wide range of wines, from white and rosé wines to red wines and natural wines. There was particular interest in natural wines and robust Grape varieties (PIWIs). Dry and semi-dry white wines dominated with 163 samples.
