Good to know: Schwarzriesling (known internationally as Pinot Meunier) belongs to the Burgundy family and is the direct ancestor of Samtrot. Despite its name, it has nothing to do with white Riesling. It is a true specialty of Württemberg and is even famous worldwide as one of the three classic Champagne grape varieties. It is known for its delicate, juicy fruit aromas and an elegant, uncomplicated drinking experience.
